Direct Primary Care (Concierge) Membership

Do I need to sign up for Direct Primary Care (Concierge) services in order to see Dr. Selaru?

While we recommend concierge services, especially for patients with chronic conditions, Dr. Selaru is able to see patients who do not feel they need that additional service. All of your visits would be billed through your insurance. Please see our list of participating insurance companies.

How much do your concierge services cost?

If you are also covered by insurance, there is a flat fee of 24.95 per month to allow us to offer services in addition to what their insurance covers.

If you do not have insurance, the price is 49.95 for patients 18-30 years old, and 79.95 for patients over 30.

Is there a sign-up fee to sign-up for membership?

Yes, the fee is $99.00 and has the purpose of covering administrative processes associated with your registration in our practice.

You can cancel your membership at any time with a 30-day notice for any reason.

We do offer special group rates for businesses – please contact us for more information.

What services are included in the concierge membership?

In brief, your membership covers*:

  • Chronic Health Monitoring

Does Clarii Health see patients of all ages?

At this time, we only accept adult members 18 years and older. We plan on adding pediatric primary care.

If I have Direct Primary Care (Concierge) services, will you still charge my insurance?

Yes. Office visits are charged to your insurer while our direct primary care concierge services are billed directly to you. You should keep your insurance to utilize for office visits, other specialists, hospitals, inpatient care, and other services not provided in your membership.

How can Direct Primary Care help me save on healthcare costs?

Clarii Health provides just-in-time care. We strive to make ourselves available to you when you need us. Therefore, we can help prevent the cost associated with many of the following items:

  • Unnecessary tests
  • Specialists visits
  • Radiologic tests
  • Urgent care visits
  • Emergency room visits

Our monthly fee may be less than what you would spend otherwise in co-pays, deductibles, unnecessary tests, visits and other medical services. You also have the added benefit of being able to consult with us as you need or see fit.

Can employers offer Direct Primary Care to employees?

Yes. Please see the Employer section on our website. In brief, you may choose to participate in our program on your employees’ behalf while still saving money.

What medical conditions do you treat?

We treat acute and chronic health problems including behavioral health. We provide all the care that you would expect from a primary care physician.

We will also act as your health coaches and advisors, promoting a healthy lifestyle through prevention and the integration of wellness therapies, and be helping you navigate the healthcare landscape as a whole.

What happens if hospitalization becomes necessary?

We will stay updated on your case while you are in the hospital through consultations with your hospital physician if necessary, and we will see you quickly after discharge to maintain continuity of care.

Will you keep my medical records confidential?

Yes, patient privacy is a natural benefit of this medical model. We will never provide any third party with a copy of your records unless you specifically ask us to do so or are compelled to do so under the law.

What if I need medical attention while I am away from home?

Many conditions can be diagnosed and treated over the phone, and via text or email.

We can also prescribe medication suited for your circumstances to a pharmacy near you, if appropriate.

We will also advise you if you need to seek other medical attention while away from home.

How can I contact my doctor after hours?

If you are a Direct Primary Care (Concierge) member, you will be given access to a telephone app that will give you unrestricted access 24/7/365. If you are not a Direct Primary Care (Concierge) member, you will have access via phone and email and will be contacted the following business day.

What other services do you provide?

Clarii Health doctors will prescribe medication and order tests that are not performed in-office. We can refer to you specialists if necessary and collaborate with them to ensure continuity of care.

For your convenience, we offer in-house:

  • Pap smears
  • Blood draws
  • on-site pharmacy

These are available for all our patients.
